  • Small production company in Venice is in need of a VFX artist who can also act as our post VFX supervisor. Background in rotoscoping, green screen compositing, and after effects is a must. This isn't a big budget project, but might be right for a skilled artist who is looking to expand their supervision credits. THIS IS A PAID GIG. A 5 maximum day rate is possible or a project rate can be negotiated. Candidate must have their own Apple based machine, Adobe CS6 and be willing to travel to our Venice beach office.

    Glass Canvas is a London-based company specialising in architectural visualisation. We currently have an opening for a dedicated Autodesk 3ds Max modeller. This position is ideally for someone with 1-2 years’ experience of working within a visualisation or architecture studio. The candidate should possess excellent technical modelling skills which will be put to the test during interview process! Your typical workflow will be to take architect’s drawings, extract the useful layers, bring them into 3ds Max and model the building and/or environment. An alternative workflow might be that you are given a 3D model by the architect or client (SketchUp format the most common), which you will have to turn into something usable from a visualisation point of view. A basic knowledge of texturing and lighting is useful but not essential. Salary £20k-£26k.
